Monty Lankford is president and CEO of Rural Physician Partners. He is also the owner and operator of TLC Medical Oxygen & Hospital Equipment, Inc., which he founded in 1996. TLC operates three locations in Middle and East Tennessee, providing services to more than 30,000 patients. TLC specializes in respiratory oxygen, sleep therapy, power wheel chairs and a full line of durable medical equipment. Lankford holds a bachelor’s degree from Welch College.
Lon Cherry serves as EVP and CFO for Rural Physician Partners. Previously, Cherry served as the CFO of the Lampo Group, better known as Dave Ramsey’s company, where he was responsible for the financial and operational leadership, including infrastructure and controls and processes used in 14 profit centers. He also has served as the COO/CFO of a $30M national marketer of term life insurance and identity theft products. Cherry holds a bachelor’s degree from Huntington College and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Ron Hewett serves as vice president of sales and marketing for Rural Physician Partners. Prior to RPP, Ron was the vice president of sales and marketing, AP and Molecular, for GoPath Labs â€” an anatomic pathology, clinical pathology and molecular diagnostic laboratory. Ron holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s in business administration from Wake Forest University.
